John Clark, Head of Product at takepayments, stated: "Our previous research revealed that contactless is by far the most popular payment method in the UK - we surveyed over 1,000 UK consumers to understand how they prefer to make payments and nearly half of the respondents (48%) chose contactless card payments ahead of cash and Chip and PIN.".
