Tesco shoppers have discovered you can get ‘impeccable’ item as a meal deal snack

While snacks include crisps, fruit and protein pots, there’s also another surprising option: soup. Popular TikTok creator and Tesco employee, Nathan Lorenzo, shared his insight in a video. He said: ‘I don’t know who needs to hear this. Tesco are now doing, wait for it, soup in the meal deal.’.

Nathan continued on to tell viewers that he thinks it’s a ‘genius’ move from Tesco, especially considering the UK’s recent cold snap has resulted in lows of -18.9C. ‘And what do you do when you’re cold? You have soup or something hot,’ he explained in the video, which has since had over 740,000 views and 61,000 likes.
The carton of soup is available as a snack option, with shoppers able to choose between New Covent Garden’s Classic Chicken Soup, or the brand’s Creamy Tomato Soup. Taking to the comment section, shoppers were quick to share their excitement and their plans about what main to combining the soup with, revealing there is a clear favourite.
