‘Driving with improperly inflated tires increases the risk of a crash.’. No deaths, crashes or injuries have been reported so far. Tesla is offering a free software update to correct the problem. It is the latest recall that Tesla has done this year, and the seventh for its Cybertruck. Last month, 2,400 Cybertrucks were called back. In July, Tesla recalled 1.85million vehicles that could fail to detect an unlatched hood while in motion due to a software issue.

Two months before that, Tesla recalled more than 125,000 vehicles of four different models over the seat belts. And in February, the automaker recalled more than 2million vehicles because safety warning signals were showing up in a smaller font size. Tesla has accounted for 21% of all vehicle recalls in the US in the first three quarters of 2024, according to BizzyCar.
