With the new year among us, many people are putting resolutions in place - with organising their homes a major goal. And now a B&M storage hack is going viral, with shoppers raving about the budget-friendly store's affordable containers. And there is one major reason shoppers are flocking to the outlet - they have been inspired by the host of BBC show Sort Your Life Out Stacey Solomon's recommendations.

Currently, B&Ms 'Organise It' event is back, and there are more containers and tubs to choose from than ever before. Among the options on offer, which range in price dependent on size, are larger lidded boxes (£9), tubs (£6), and smaller plastic tubs costing £3.

Using the boxes to store different items can make a huge difference to a room's appearance, as it removes surface clutter, making the space a lot tidier. And living in a clutter-free environment can really make a difference to your life, according to professional declutterer Janine McDonald.

The Salford-based mother-of-two says that decluttering can help you feel better both physically and mentally. Stacey Solomon (pictured) is the host of BBC Show Sort Your Life Out, where she helps families declutter their homes. Janine, who can be found on Instagram at Clear the Clutter Now has previously said: 'Having clutter around us has a tremendous impact on our mental wellbeing. Far more than we actually think it does.

'It affects our mood, our relationship with others in the home and adds to the constant "to do" lists swirling around in our minds already. When we have clutter around, it makes it a lot harder to keep on top of things as the feeling of overwhelm can consume us, leaving us in a state of tidying procrastination.'.
