Comedian Mo, who is usually one of the judges of the hit talent show, was replaced by esteemed actor Richard E. Grant for Saturday night's episode.
But the mystery of Mo's whereabouts is solved, with a scheduling conflict meaning he won't appear next Saturday for the finale either, which will feature Dressed Crab, Pufferfish and Wolf.
A third mused: "I wonder where Mo gillian is #MaskedSingerUK," while someone else tweeted: "#MaskedSingerUK where's mo tonight?"
