Shopaholics are no longer just stopping buy to grab a pint of milk and a loaf of bread from their local supermarket and are instead taking a detour to browse the clothing racks. Brands from PrettyLittleThing to Zara are no longer the favourite of fashion fans who have ditched the well-loved high street stores in favour of cheap dupes and must-have wardrobe staples from the likes of Asda and Tesco. And it's not just serious shoppers who have fallen head over heals for the clothing ranges at their favourite supermarkets.

Celebrities are also lending their faces to brands with the likes of Zara McDermott and Abbey Clancy releasing their own lines through Tesco's F&F. Customers have flocked to TikTok to encourage other shoppers to take advantage of the affordable clothing ranges and claimed they are 'obsessed' with the styles on offer. Tesco has recently impressed customers with its winter staples including £27 coats, neutral jumpers, classic pyjamas and even dupes for Kim Kardashian's SKIMS brand.

Fan reviews have exploded across social media with some encouraging others to 'run, don't walk' to stores to enjoy a bargain. Influencer Lacey Louise (@lacey.louise.xo.) took to social media to tell her followers to 'run to Tesco' for their latest lounge wear sets. In the clip, which was watched more than 1.4million times, the influencer showed off the store's beige, cream and black sets and prices and her followers flooded to the comments to praise the supermarket chain. One person wrote: 'Tesco has slowly become one of my fav places to shop' while another said 'I love Tesco clothes'. Another fan joked: 'I'm just a walking f&f advert at this point'. Another customer, Yaz Moore (@yazmooremakeup), took to TikTok to praise Zara's new range, telling her followers the range was 'so comfy to wear' as she showed off a series of bodysuits, joggers and tops.

Yaz is not the only one who has been seeing more positive reviews of Tesco's clothing range as one of her fans commented underneath her post: 'This is the 5th Tesco vid I’ve seen today I’m trying to be good' while another said 'we love a Tesco haul'. And its not just Tesco, with shoppers at Asda praising the supermarket's own clothing line. She showed her followers her haul, trying her favourite items on in the changing rooms and sharing her thoughts. She started her video by commenting that she was very excited before showing off a long leopard print coat. She said: 'I knew this coat was going to be good. I know it's going to be a love or hate but I'm a lover.'. She showed of a khaki denim jumpsuit and praised how it fit over the legs and a denim bomber jacket before showing off a burgundy puffer coat and telling her fans: 'This is the warmest, thickest... look at the colour! I'm going to go to every Asda in the world to try and find my size'.

The mother-of-two also tried on a white cable knit jumper with tassels and confessed she had seen a similar one in river island but confessed she might ever prefer Asda's dupe. She said: 'I found something very similar to this in River island before and I loved it but this is just as good quality.'. She finished the video by saying: 'That might be one of my favourite supermarket try on hauls of all time.'.

One customer, Yaz Moore took to TikTok to praise Zara's new range, telling her followers the range was 'so comfy to wear'. One happy Asda customer took to TikTok to share her thoughts on Asda's clothing collection and even convinced some committed Tesco shoppers to explore the rival's range. And it seems her video tempted some staunch Tesco shoppers to try Asda's new range with one follower commenting: 'I might cheat on my fave F&F and hit up George next week!'.

Although another was a little more critical and revealed they weren't a fan of the George range and preferred other supermarket own brands, writing: 'I love Tesco and Sainsbury’s more than Asda these days'. Shoppers have also praised Tesco's active wear range which includes dupes of the luxury shape wear range from Kim Kardashian. The reality star, 43, launched her shape wear brand in 2019, and it has since expanded into one of the most popular clothing companies on the globe.
