Friday’s episode of The Traitors left fans buzzing with anticipation as the deathmatch card game between Fozia and Leon ended on a dramatic cliffhanger. During the previous installment (January 10), the Traitors tasked themselves with writing four names on a painting inside Traitors Castle’s bar — an intriguing twist on the previous poisoned chalice assignment. One of these sets would lead to a player's elimination after the high-stakes midnight card game, which the chosen participants had to play.
Fozia, Alexander, Leon, and Anna participated in the game. Each player was dealt two cards — one marked with 'life' — and could choose to switch cards once per round. With stakes higher than ever, series one runner-up and original Traitor Wilf Webster shared his insights on the unfolding drama, predicting fireworks when the winners of the card game return to the castle and has said a dark horse is emerging among the Faithfuls.
“The three people are going to go back without whoever loses between Leon and Fozia, and that’s going to be an interesting conversation,” Webster, who has teamed up with Mecca Bingo to share insights about this season, said. “They’re going to go back to the castle and be like this is what’s just happened so I’m really looking forward to that – that’s what I think is going to happen unless they send them back to the hotel. But it'd be really good if they go back to the castle and start chatting about it, just to see The Traitors’ input on it as well. That would be interesting.”.
