In the years since he continued working on his own music and last year performed at the opening of the Las Vegas venue Ole Red, co-owned by Shelton.

He then went on to become the frontman of the progressive rock band Indulge in 2005 before starting to work on solo music after 10 years of touring with the band.

The singer appeared on the US version of the reality singing show in 2014, in which he was one of Blake Shelton’s top five finalists.
