It was reported that Paul died just hours before he was slated to appear in court facing drug charges, following an ongoing battle with substance abuse. Prior to his death, Paul suffered a string of struggles and hardships, including going drug withdrawal on a television show, overdosing on heroin, and coming close to death after becoming 'obsessed with vaping.'.
