The X Factor star Jake Quickenden announces birth of child and reveals adorable name

Former X Factor star Jake Quickenden and his wife Sophie Church have welcomed their second child. TV personality Jake announced the news on social media, and revealed the baby’s name is Kit. ‘Welcome to the world little one. Kit Quickenden 6lb 13oz,’ he said alongside a video of him and Sophie cuddling their new arrival.
‘Born 08/01/25 – As a dad I just want to say Sophie was incredible, thank you for delivering Kit and being so amazing,’ he added. The video shows Sophie cradling the little boy – who was kept warm with a blue beanie hat – before she eats a well-deserved slice of toast while breastfeeding.

In a joint post on Instagram Jake and Sophie announced the news they were ‘soon to be five’ alongside a video of their family, explaining they had been trying for ‘a long time’. ‘We can finally let you know after a long time trying we are gonna bring another bundle of joy into the world,’ they wrote.
