The Standard can reveal its top 10 most read news stories for 2024 - and it’s not the British election, the Paris Olympics or even Brat summer that has come out top. Hundreds of thousands of you have clicked on articles since January 1, but many of the most read stories have been from the final quarter of this year.
With New Year’s Eve falling on Tuesday, here are the most read articles from the year that was - with all data being correct up until December 30.
