Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou says absent trio Dominic Solanke, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven should "definitely" be fit for the Europa League last-16 decider against AZ Alkmaar and have an "outside chance" of featuring in the first leg.
Asked when the key trio could be fit, Postecoglou said: "The first European game I’d say outside chance for any three of them but certainly they’ll be back training fully by then and then we’ve got Bournemouth on the weekend and I reckon much better odds for that.
Postecoglou was asked about the contrast between Tel and more physical centre-forwards like Solanke or Ipswich's Liam Delap, who nearly scored three times within the first six minutes of Spurs' 4-1 win at Portman Road on Saturday.
Solanke is sidelined with a knee injury and last featured against Arsenal on January 15, while Romero (thigh) and Van de Ven (hamstring) both suffered fresh injuries on their return to the side in the 4-3 defeat to Chelsea at the start of December.
"We’ve a little window where hopefully we can get something into them and still got two European games and three league games between now and the international break so I really want them up and running by then.".
