Travis Scott debuted a new song during halftime of Ohio State's national championship win over Notre Dame - but viewers didn't love the track or his performance. Scott's track '4x4' was premiered during halftime of the Buckeyes' 34-23 win. But viewers were underwhelmed by the production quality of the performance, as the rapper - who was stationed on the roof of Mercedes-Benz Stadium - was barely visible in the dark and performed for less than two minutes.

Meanwhile, other fans sympathized with those who were at the game in person and didn't actually get to see Scott perform in front of them beyond watching the jumbotron. 'So Travis Scott is performing his song on the roof and that's the halftime show for the people inside?,' one asked on X.

'Imagine going to the national championship game, finding out Travis Scott is doing the halftime show, and then he just dances on the f***ing roof,' another said. Travis Scott premiered his new song '4x4' during halftime of the Ohio State-Notre Dame game.

In reality, the performance appeared to be pre-recorded, as Scott posted a promo video with a trumpet player on the roof before the game. Additionally, the band did not appear to be on the roof during the performance. Scott was also seen being interviewed on the field before the game.
