The 28-year-old British actor had a stellar 2024 after gaining global acclaim for his role as Dex in Netflix’s adaptation of One Day. And his 2025 is shaping up to be no different as he kicks it off with an exciting new action drama, created by Sherlock writer Steve Thompson, opposite Quintessa Swindell.

The newly-released trailer starts with maths prodigy and Cambridge student Edward Brooks (Leo) sharing his groundbreaking theory on prime numbers which makes him question if ‘we’re not in control’. Despite demands to drop this research from his professor, Brooks shows no signs of quitting as he begins to uncover a government conspiracy that causes malevolent figures to descend upon our plucky protagonist.

After active threats to his life, he is tracked down by NSA agent Taylah (Quintessa) who reveals that his work is the ‘cornerstone to all digital security’. Now the ‘world’s greatest mind’ has the key that could plunge the whole world into chaos and a ‘target number one’ sign on his back as he dodges the forces that be, including Martha Plimpton as top dog Jane Torres.
