Fans of a huge TV series are convinces it's set for a comeback due to comments by one of its stars. Ted Lasso viewers were gutted after thinking to show had come to an end in 2023. However, the Apple TV Plus series could be in line for a comeback if one star's comments are anything to go by.

The show, which was created and stars Jason Sudeikis, followed an American college football coach who was hired to coach the fictional Richmond FC. The first season aired in 2020 and was quickly praised by critics and viewers. Two more seasons followed before seemingly coming to an end in 2023.

However, Nick Mohammed has given fans hope the coach could soon be pacing the touchline once again. The 44-year-old comedian, who starred as kit man turned assistant coach Nate Shelley, has revealed he has had to reschedule a number of his stand-up shows.

His tour titled Show Pony was set to get on the road, but a number of dates have had to be switched. Talking on social media, Nick told his followers: "I know there’ll be a lot of speculation as to why I moved these dates… I’ll be honest, it is for some filming that I’ve not been able to shift.".

He continued by holding up a sign that read "believe". The action sent fans wild in the comments section. "Nick clowning about season 4 will never not be funny. (But also you better not be clowning this time Nick)," one user said. Another added: "Omg omg omg omg omg omggggggg," with a string of emoji faces with love heart eyes. A third gushed: "It’s obvious that the filming is for a new series of Ted Lasso," while a fourth said: "Do NOT tease like this!!!!!".
