This article contains spoilers for tonight’s Emmerdale, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX. After finding out that Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) wasn’t his biological daughter earlier this week, Caleb Miligan (William Ash) was hit with another devastating bombshell in tonight’s episode.
Determined to get to the bottom of who had fathered Steph, Caleb summoned Ruby Fox-Miligan’s (Beth Cordingly) childhood friend Rob Harris to the house. With Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) having revealed that she knew about the DNA test and had got the impression from Ruby that she had been forced into sex before she fell pregnant, Caleb violently confronted Rob, believing him to be the culprit.
However, Rob was adamant that he was innocent, revealing that he was gay and Ruby had been the only person who knew. As he explained that she spent so much time at his house growing up because she was scared of her father, Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), the penny began to drop for Chas.

With Caleb struggling to grasp who she was referring to, Chas reflected on her own experiences with son Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), who had been sexually abused by his father, Gordon. As Chas explained that she believed Ruby had been sexually abused by Anthony, and he was Steph’s father, Caleb was horrified.
