Tyson Fury has vowed to secure a trilogy fight against Oleksandr Usyk after their rematch this weekend, as he promised to avenge his defeat by the Ukrainian and become a three-time world champion. Fury was surprised by his rival while on a video call with boxing chief Turki Alalsheikh before the pair exchanged insults in a light-hearted conversation. The Gypsy King is confident he will have his hand held up in Riyadh on Saturday night despite being outclassed by Usyk in their first fight and is hungry for another contest against his rival.

He said: "When I beat him on the 21st there will be a third fight, 100 per cent, there has to be a trilogy." Usyk replied: "We will see... Don't be afraid, I will not leave you alone again," before Fury hit back sarcastically: "I am very afraid. Ugly little man. I'm going to get that on because we need that trilogy back in Saudi.".

However, Usyk is targeting a knockout victory against Fury after winning via split decision in last year's fight. He told Mail Sport: "Against Fury, it wasn't me who decided this - it was the heavenly virtues who decided this was the way I would win [decision not KO]. But, if I have an opportunity to knock out Tyson Fury in the rematch, I will take it.".

His desire to face Usyk a third time comes despite the public clamouring to finally see him an all-British showdown with long-time rival Anthony Joshua or perhaps even new IBF title holder Daniel Dubois, who pulled off a fifth-round KO of the two-time world champion in September.
