Dricus Du Plessis and Sean Strickland will go head-to-head for a second time tonight as the former will be looking to successfully defend his middleweight title. The pair first went glove-to-glove last January. In what was an epic back-and-forth encounter, Du Plessis would go on to narrowly get his hand raised on points to claim UFC gold. The South African would then go on to beat Israel Adesanya later on in the year to defend his coveted prize for the first time.
As for Strickland, the American returned to the cage in June, defeating Paulo Costa via split decision. Saturday night's co-main event sees a blockbuster clash between Zhang Weili and Tatiana Suarez for the strawweight title. Weili became a two-time world champion after beating Carla Esparza in 2022. While she'll be looking for yet another successful defence of her title, she faces the toughest test of her career in Suarez. And so, here's everything you need to know about tonight's fights...
Tonight's pay-per-view event will take place at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. The early prelims are scheduled to get underway at 11pm UK time (3pm PT, 5pm CT, 6pm ET), with the prelims following at 1am UK time on Sunday (5pm PT, 7pm CT, 8pm ET on Saturday). The main card will start at around 3am UK time on Sunday (7pm PT, 9pm CT, 10pm ET on Saturday). The main event between Du Plessis and Strickland will likely take place at around 5am UK time on Sunday. The fight should not start later than this but could be brought forward if the prelim fights are completed earlier than expected.
