Hoda Kotb has built several meaningful friendships with her Today show co-stars over the course of her near three-decade career at NBC News – and will no doubt nurture them long after she's left. The anchor, 60, is preparing to depart from the network with her last episode set to air on Friday, January 10.

Hoda Kotb has built several meaningful friendships with her Today show co-stars. Savannah Guthrie. Hoda joined Savannah Guthrie on the Today show after disgraced anchor Matt Lauer was fired in 2017, and the pair soon formed a close friendship. In 2022, Savannah, 53, heaped praise on her co-host during a celebration for the show at The Paley Center.
On Hoda replacing Matt, she said: 'All I know was in that moment, it felt like I could drown if Hoda hadn't reached down and grabbed my hand.'. 'I will always say she saved the show full stop,' she added. 'And holding hands with her and being like, "We're going to do this together," meant everything to me. I don't think I had the confidence by myself.'.
