FANS are gearing up for another year of Premier League Darts - and the format for the 2025 season has been revealed!. Teenage sensation Luke Littler overcame the then world champion Luke Humphries to win the 2024 tournament. Luke Littler hit a nine dart finish, while averaging 105, to beat Luke Humphries 11-7 at the O2 Arena in May last year. And whoever makes the 2025 final will have to play a similar amount of legs with the format now confirmed.

SunSport can also provide darts lovers with information on how many sets players are set to contest for the previous rounds. Each night will be an eight person knockout tournament, with the players guaranteed to meet each other once in the quarter-finals in weeks 1-7, and weeks 9-15. In weeks 8 and 16, a draw on the tournament bracket will take place based on the table standings. The tournament uses the same format that was introduced in 2022, as each of the seven matches is best-of-11 legs.
Players recieve two points for a semi-final finish, three points for a final finish and five points for winning a night. The bottom four after week 16 will be knocked out. The format changes slightly for the final, as games move from best-of-11 legs to best-of-19 legs.
