They join the top 24 on the PDC Order of Merit, with the likes of Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen among the favourites. It was a very different tournament that Stephen Bunting won a year ago, beating Van Gerwen 11-7 in the final. This year the first round is played over a best of five sets, the second round and quarter-finals over a best of seven, semis a best of nine and the final contested over a best of 11 sets.
