Luke Littler tonight begins the defence of his Premier League Darts crown. The first of 17 nights begins in Belfast this evening, running all the until the semi-finals and final at the O2 in May. And the 2025 competition kicks off in style with a rematch between Little and Michael van Gerwen, just over a month after the pair clashed in World Championship final. Littler in January became the youngest ever world champion by beating Van Gerwen 7-3 at Alexandra Palace, and now is set for a rematch.
Littler vs Van Gerwen is scheduled for the third of four quarter-finals at the SSE Arena. First up is Chris Dobey vs Gerwyn Price, followed by Stephen Bunting vs Rob Cross and then Littler. Nathan Aspinall vs Luke Humphries will be the final quarter-final. Dobey vs Price is scheduled for 7.15pm GMT, so Littler vs Van Gerwen is unlikely to start before 8.30pm GMT.
