The PDC World Championship semi-finals are already here - and Luke Littler still has his eyes fixed on glory. The Nuke eased past Nathan Aspinall with a dominant performance at the Alexandra Palace on Wednesday. He raced into a 2-0 lead against friend Nathan Aspinall as he set a stunning pace.

But the Asp roared back by securing the vital third set. Littler restored his three-set advantage, while Aspinall then got another leg back. But Littler had the quality to before seal victory and tee-up a semi-final showdown with Stephen Bunting. That game will take place at the Alexandra Palace on Thursday evening.

Elsewhere in Wednesday's quarter-final clashes, Chris Dobey became the first to book his spot in the next round. He overcame Gerwyn Price with a 5-3 victory at the Alexandra Palace. But it did not all go his way after falling two sets behind early on.

Dobey however put together a sensational comeback to level matters against the Welshman, as he missed a key set dart. Momentum continued to swing between the pair before Dobey eventually booked his spot in the semi finals with a stunning double double-18 to seal the final and decisive set.

He was eventually followed into the last four by four-time world champion Michael van Gerwen, the pair facing off first in the capital on Thursday. But the Dutchman was also made to work by Callan Rydz. The pair both put in sensational performances during their showdown, with each taking a set in the early stages. Rydz and Van Gerwen continued to exchange blows before the latter raced into a 4-2 lead.
