Despite the landmark decision by the broadcaster to take the long-running animated comedy off Channel 4, fans will still be able to watch the beloved American family for free.
A select number of episodes will still be available to stream for free on the Channel 4 app.
However, it was confirmed this week that The Simpsons would vacate its 6:30pm weekday Channel 4 slot from January, and be shown on E4 instead.
The animated series that centres around the iconic family members Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie along with other residents of Springfield, has been a regular feature on the UK channel since 2004.
