The UEFA Conference League league phase is now complete, with Chelsea topping the standings with a perfect record heading into the knockout stage. The Blues made it six wins from six - the only team to boast a 100 per cent record - with a goal difference of +21 as Enzo Maresca’s side hammered home their tag as clear favourites to go the whole way.

The revamp competition means the Blues, along with the remainder of the top eight, will skip the play-off round and have already secured their spot in the last-16 stage. It also means Chelsea know they will face one of four teams for a place in the quarter-finals.

Things are looking very pretty for Chelsea at the top of the league phase standings and Maresca can now map out his team’s route to the final. The play-off draw is at 12pm UK time and, while Chelsea are not directly involved, it will narrow down Chelsea’s possible opponents from four to two.

As it stands, Chelsea will have one of: Gent, Copenhagen, Real Betis or Heidenheim. The play-off draw will decide which side of the draw team will is placed on, and from there a route to the final can be mapped out. The full play-off draw will be streamed live on the UEFA website and across their social media channels. It is due to start at 12pm UK time.
