AUSTRALIAN darts pro Damon "The Heat" Heta threw an incredible nine-darter during his third-round loss to Luke Woodhouse at the PDC World Darts Championship 2025. Currently ranked as the world No. 8 on the PDC Order of Merit, here we get to know his wife Meaghan.

In 2019, Damon Heta and his wife Meaghan moved to the UK with just a suitcase each and nowhere to live. Thankfully the couple's friend Kyle Anderson, the late Australian darts player, was already settled in England and helped the newcomers acclimatise.

In November 2024, Damon posted on X/Twitter: "Landed in England five years ago today to get myself ready for my debut worlds and Q-School. "Moved to a country we had never been to with only a suitcase each, nowhere to live & the only person we knew was Kyle.
"It’s crazy to think I play darts for a living!". Aside from being a darts player's wife, very little is known about Meaghan Heta. While we know how important she is to the thrower — he has described her as his "everything" — details about when she was born and what she does for a living have not been reported.
Damon has opened up about how he and his wife are a team, and that he'd even move back to Australia if she so wished. And in August 2024, he told Online Darts: "It's not just me. It's my wife as well, which is a massive part in this and we're a team. "And I'll tell you what, if she was to say next year, 'You know what? I've had enough of this life and I want go back home,' mate, I'd be on next plane because I know how much she's sacrificed — more than I have.".
