A MOTHER of the bride has sparked fury after choosing an incredibly glamorous dress to wear to her daughter's big wedding day.
While there is no rule, dressing in white to a wedding has long been deemed “bad form” by etiquette experts, who claim it “distracts from the bride” on her big day.
The mother, whose identity remains unknown, was also said to ''love the limelight'', and some fashion critics compared the white frock to ''curtains''.
Another hit back at the trolls and said: ''the woman gets to show off their wealth and status on wedding days, it's part of the culture, looking fabulous.''.
The back of the white gown, which has since taken the internet by storm for all the wrong reasons, also boasted a corset-style detailing to cinch in the waist.
