Sponsored by. MANCHESTER UNITED are not wearing their traditional red colours against Arsenal today. But that is despite the Gunners NOT using their usual red home kit. As has been the case in the FA Cup third round over the past three seasons, the Gunners are instead going to play in an all-white kit produced by kit suppliers adidas.

The special edition shirt is the regular home kit but with every aspect in white with a black outline for the Arsenal badge and numbers as part of of the club's No More Red campaign to raise awareness of knife crime and youth violence in the capital.

Last season, Liverpool defeated Arsenal in the FA Cup third round at the Emirates. And instead of wearing their red home colours, the Merseysiders wore their purple third choice kit in a show for solidarity for Arsenal's No More Red campaign. United wore their dark blue away shirts at the Emirates for the 2-0 Premier League loss in December with the Gunners in their home red that night, and the club have confirmed they will wear blue again today.

AFTER drawing each other in the third round of the FA Cup, it will be the 17th time Arsenal and Manchester United have faced off in the competition. They previously met in the 1997 and 2005 finals, both won by Arsenal. The last match came in 2019, which was won by United.

Overall Arsenal have six wins while United have eight, while they share two draws. United's tally of 22 goals is also superior to Arsenal's 20 in these games. Wayne Rooney is the top scorer in the fixture, with three of his goals against the North London side coming in the FA Cup.
