Why isn't Everton vs Chelsea on TV? How to watch Premier League clash

Chelsea travel to Everton on Sunday with a chance to temporarily climb above Liverpool at the top of the Premier League. The Blues come into Week 17 two points behind the Reds, having played one game more, as Enzo Maresca's Stamford Bridge revolution continues. However, Chelsea fans in the United Kingdom may be disappointed the visit to Goodison Park won't be televised on British screens.
The West Londoners are on a run of five league wins in a row and have taken more points on the road this season than any other Premier League team. However, Goodison has been difficult territory for Chelsea in recent years given the Blues have lost in seven of their last 10 trips to the ground.
With so much at stake, Blues supporters will be desperate to see Maresca's men get the three points and maintain their title challenge. However, fans in the UK may be disappointed as the 2pm kick-off takes a back seat in the broadcasting schedule. Sunday's Premier League slate will feature five fixtures, four of which clash with Chelsea and Everton in the 2 p.m. slot. Manchester United will host Bournemouth at the same time that Leicester City hostWolves, while Fulham and Southampton are also due to meet at Craven Cottage at that time.
And it's the Cottagers' clash against the Saints that has been selected for broadcast by Sky Sports. This will change as of the 2025/26 season when Sky Sports is set to introduce simultaneous viewing of certain Sunday kick-offs that clash in the 2pm allocation.
