Luke Littler is doing very well for himself on and off the oche, with his earnings predicted to ‘skyrocket’ after his 18th birthday this year. The Nuke is into the World Darts Championship semi-finals, guaranteeing a very decent return of £100,000 for his efforts at Alexandra Palace.

He is two wins away from the top prize of £500,000, while he could also match the amount he won a year ago when he finished runner-up to Luke Humphries and trousered £200,000. It is eye-watering money for a 17-year-old and that is just from one tournament when, of course, he has been winning a lot of matches on the tour away from Ally Pally.

On the PDC Order of Merit, which is a ranking list based on prize money won in the last two years, Littler came into the World Championship with £618,500 to his name. However, he has done very well in non-ranked events as well, winning the Premier League (£275,000) and World Series of Darts Finals (£80,000) among others, meaning his 2024 prize money has comfortably cleared the £1,000,000 mark.

It appears that his earning ability on the oche is going to remain huge for years to come, but it is his marketing away from the board that is set for a huge boost. Forbes reported in July that Littler’s earnings for 2024 were set to be an estimated $1.5m (£1.2m), including ‘prize money, endorsements, royalties and appearances fees,’ although that looks to be on the pessimistic side of estimates.
