Fans in the stands at a college basketball game got too physical with each other as a massive brawl ensued that saw many fans tumbling down the stairs. During an Atlantic 10 Conference game between Saint Louis University and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) held at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, cameras caught fans falling down the aisles late into the game.

It's unclear what led to the incident taking place, which person instigated the incident, or which teams all those involved were cheering for. Early in the video, an older man who appeared to be wearing a Saint Louis sweatshirt was seen being shoved out of his seat and down the steps. Later video appeared to show that man had blood on his neck.

Security guards were seen rushing to the scene to try and separate people involved in the scuffle. Some people watching wearing VCU gear were seen trying to help break the fight up which was taking place directly behind the VCU bench.
