WNBA star A'ja Wilson inks blockbuster contract extension with Nike One of the WNBA's biggest superstars A'ja Wilson has thrust the league further into the spotlight after inking a new blockbuster contract with Nike.
Wilson will be the 13th WNBA athlete to have a signature shoe, joining New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu at Nike and league legend Breanna Stewart, who released her own footwear with Puma in 2022.
'It's been incredible working with Nike toward a dream of having my collection, and it really is an honor to take this next step and become a Nike signature athlete,' Wilson said in a statement.
Wilson announced back in May that she would be launching a long-awaited signature shoe with the sports company.
The three-time MVP had announced a signature shoe with the sportswear giant back in May.
