Bromley Little Theatre in south-east London is giving the guidance alongside its new adaptation of the author's 1839 novel Nicholas Nickleby - saying it contains 'Dickensian slurs'.
The cautions to audience members were shared on Bromley Little Theatre's websites.
Conservative MP Sir John Hayes said: 'Dickens is full of, by definition, Victorian slurs, because it was reflecting the language of working people at the time.
