A WWE star has blasted bosses after he was essentially demoted for not being 'famous enough'. Commentary on WWE's top shows has been a top topic for a long time, with teams on both RAW and SmackDown often moved around in the search to find a strong balance on the microphone.
Corey Graves has worked his way up in the company and was even briefly working as a play-by-play lead commentator before being taking up the role of a colour broadcaster once again. The 40-year-old, who was formerly a wrestler but forced to retire in 2014 due to concussion issues, ventured into broadcasting and worked with the likes of Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on the main roster.
Ahead of the company's Netflix premiere last week, however, Graves was taken off the main roster and appeared back on NXT - which is seen as the company's developmental brand. And he didn't appear to take the move well. Taking to X, he launched what appeared to be a rant at company bosses on the back of the decision.

Graves took to social media to explain his disappointment at being dropped for being 'not famous enough'. 'Imagine chasing your dream. Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you're no longer physically able to pursue your dream,' he wrote. 'Then you dedicate your life to something "dream adjacent" and being pretty f***iing awesome at it.
