A POPULAR streaming service is tapping out from screens after ten years. Fortunately, fans need not worry as much of the biggest content from the platform will move to Netflix next year. The streaming service in question is WWE Network, which burst onto the scene in the US in 2014 and the UK a year later.

WWE Network has been home to a number of wresting shows and live events. But earlier in the year, the firm warned fans that the platform will shut down at the end of 2024. At the start of December, WWE Network stopped accepting new subscriptions. Existing users will find their subscription is automatically cancelled by December 31.

"On January 1, 2025, WWE Network will no longer be available in some locations worldwide. After January 1, Netflix will be the new exclusive home of WWE in these countries," WWE says. "Netflix will bring WWE's electrifying content all to one place in some international markets, including weekly shows, Monday Night RAW, SmackDown and NXT, PLUS Premium Live Events (PLEs) such as WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam.

"Many of WWE’s top moments, along with historic PLEs and select programming, will be available on Netflix beginning January 1.". The first WWE live to take place is on January 6 with Monday Night RAW. John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Bianca Belair are set to appear, as well as guests including Travis Scott.
