Asking on X, formerly known as Twitter, the man posted: "Do you have to say Uno out when you play your last card in @realUNOgame???
The official UNO account wrote: "While calling 'UNO Out' when you play your last card is a popular House Rule, it's not required.".
UNO cleared up the confusion on social media after a player posed the question to settle a row with his family.
