Murphey, who best known for appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, had been experiencing health issues prior to his death at 66 years old. The reality star’s family posted a statement on his Instagram account Wednesday confirming that he had died in Las Vegas, Nevada after being diagnosed with liver cancer a year ago.

The statement his family posted shared that Murphey was a ‘veteran, small business owner and software engineer.’. They also said he had recently retired from the Clark County Treasurer’s office in Nevada, and worked for H&R Block and IGT. ‘He was also well known for his time as a cast member on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days,’ they wrote.
