Almost every major Pokémon game is currently giving away free codes in the wake of Pokémon Day, the annual event to mark the franchise’s anniversary. Entering these codes into the game of your choice allows you to grab free Pokémon, items, and rare cards.
And, with most of the freebies available until late March or April, there’s still plenty of time to claim them. Here are all the free Pokémon gift codes that are available to players right now. Gift code: GOTOURUNOVA. Ahead of the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova event, which takes place between March 1-2 and will see the arrival of legendary Pokémon Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, the mobile game is offering a free code that sets up an encounter with one of three Pokémon.
By entering the code on the game’s web store, you’ll be able to choose from Snivy, Tepig (who is also a starter Pokémon in the new Pokémon Legends Z-A game), and Oshawatt. Gift code: POKEDAY25. During the Pokémon Day 2025 celebrations, new characters like Suicune, Alolan Raichu, and Alcremie were added to Pokémon Unite’s roster. With this code, you’ll be able to snag a Platinum Suicune Boost Emblem until March 31. Make sure to claim it within 30 days of the gift appearing in your in-game mail otherwise it will vanish.
Gift code: Pokémon Scarlet: SB00KC0VER / Pokémon Violet: VB00KC0VER. The Nintendo Switch game is giving players a free Rotom Phone case, available in colours that match the Scarlet and Violet versions. Just a heads-up: the code uses the number zero, not the letter “O.” Be warned: You need to have played for a certain amount of time to claim a gift, 1-1.5 hours in this case. Instead of a set expiration date, The Pokémon Company says the gift could disappear at any time, so make sure to snap it up right away.
Free gems log-in bonus. To celebrate Pokémon Masters Ex turning five-and-a-half years old, the 3-on-3 battling game is giving players 3,000 gems just for logging in. Newcomers should be aware that you’ll need to complete chapter 1 to be eligible for the freebie. But, with the offer expiring on March 27, there’s plenty of time to get it done.
Free staff members log-in bonus. The adorable puzzle game is getting an update that introduces an apple-themed menu item and new Pokémon, including Flapple and Appletun, as well as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. By logging in now or for three days in a row, players can recruit Pikachu in its sweets outfit or Eevee in its sweets outfit, respectively, as extra staff members. The special stamps are available until March 14.
Free Booster Packs log-in bonus. In conjunction with the launch of the new Triumphant Light booster pack, the Pokémon TCG Pocket mobile game is offering an exciting giveaway. Players can log in now to claim three special booster packs, each containing at least one guaranteed Four Diamond or higher card. These packs feature one card each from the three options in the Genetic Apex set. The giveaway runs until April 29, so there’s loads of time left to add the new cards to your Deck.
