The M&S Faux Leather Relaxed Fit Jacket is a new drop from the high street store, but we predict it will fly off the shelves.
Made from polyurethane to create a faux leather look, this jacket looks more premium than it is. It boasts a relaxed fit, while the ribbed elasticated hem works to pull in the waist and add volume to the body. It features a collar, dropped shoulders, as well as a zip and button front fastening.
The Faux Leather Relaxed Fit Jacket we would say is a hybrid of various leather jacket designs, including a classic leather jacket, bomber jacket and straight fit shacket. This relaxed design when worn undone resembles a straight fit, but zip it up and the oversize fit pulls in to create a bomber-style.
It features a collar, ribbed hem and cuffs to fit the wearer comfortably and keep in the warmth. It also features two patch pockets, which is a super stylish finish. M&S has paid extra attention to detail as this jacket is lined for extra warmth and protection, it also features a zip and popper button front fastening. What we love about this jacket is it is uber versatile and practical, as it can be worn day to night, as well as throughout all seasons. It can be styled with jeans, a white T-shirt and jeans, as well as a dress, satin slip skirt, and heeled boots. In the winter slip a chunky turtleneck knit underneath, or drape loosely over your shoulders in the spring.
While it is new to M&S, it has yet to rack up lots of reviews. However, one M&S shopper has hailed it a ‘very stylish jacket’ that resembles ‘high end’ alternatives, and we couldn’t agree more. The jacket is available in sizes 6 to 24, and it is said to be true to size.
