An Amazon delivery truck driver was caught on camera running over a woman twice, getting out to check on her and then fleeing the scene. The incident was so ‘horrible’ that a neighbor said it ‘almost seemed fake’. ‘It’s like, you don’t want to believe it, you know,’ Josh Webster told WBFF.

The driver then gets out and stands over the woman, then gets back into his truck and drives off. ‘He’s like, over top of her. Then he runs her over again,’ Webster said. ‘He had to know that there, you know, something was obviously wrong. Especially driving a truck around all day. You can, you could differentiate, you know, between a pothole and a person, I’m pretty sure.’.

The woman moved slightly on the road as the Amazon truck vanished from the frame, the Ring camera clip shows. Two other vehicles were at the intersection and witnessed the hit-and-run. Police and medical first responders got to the intersection Butchers Hill neighborhood of Baltimore shortly after the 9.30pm incident on Tuesday.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Amazon spokesperson Austin Stowe said the company is aware of the ‘terrible incident’. ‘The driver in question has been suspended from delivering on our behalf and we’re working with his employer and law enforcement as they investigate,’ she stated.
A vehicle or tag number for the truck was not immediately known and cops are searching for the suspect. ‘They should definitely be held accountable,’ Webster said. ‘I just pray that that woman’s OK.’. It happened three months after an Amazon delivery driver fatally ran over an elderly woman as she crossed a Georgia highway after visiting her loved one’s grave.
