All six seasons of a hit US comedy-drama have now been made available on Netflix, and it’s a must-watch for Gilmore Girls fans. The WB series starring Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel is already free to watch to subscribers and countless fans have watched the heartwarming mother-daughter story over and over.
Now, if you’ve already binge-watched the Gilmore adventures several times, Graham’s other iconic series, Parenthood, is now on the service for your streaming pleasure. In this acclaimed family drama, the Lorelai Gilmore star portrays Sarah Braverman-Holt, a divorced mother of two teens and the sister of three siblings, who all have children of their own.
Throughout the show’s six seasons, Sarah, along with Adam (played by Peter Krause), Crosby (Dax Shepard) and Julia (Erika Christensen) must contend with the challenges of parenting as well as their relationships with their own parents, Camille (Bonnie Bedelia) and Ezekiel (Craig T Nelson).
Although the series scored rave reviews it didn’t fare as well in the ratings, gradually declining in viewers despite running for an impressive six seasons. All 103 episodes are now available to stream on Netflix in the UK, giving it another chance to find a larger audience worldwide.
Parenthood’s small but passionate fanbase all agree the show shouldn’t be missed, with one Google reviewer calling it “[the most] feel good drama series I have ever watched!. “This series touched me on so many levels. The importance of family and complications of family has been beautifully described in the story. I have many favourite characters in this one.”.
