The real-life owners of Walter White’s home in Breaking Bad have put the property on the market as they’re ‘done’ with fans. The four-bedroom, one-bathroom home in Albuquerque, New Mexico has been listed for an eye-watering $4,000,000 (£3,200,000).

The owner, Joanne Quintana, said she was selling after her family grew tired of fans making a pilgrimage to the home. She said they have on average 300 cars stopping every day to see the property and take pictures. ‘This was our family home from 1973, almost 52 years. So we’re going to walk away with just our memories. It’s time to move on. We’re done. There’s no reason to fight anymore,’ Joanne local outlet Kob.

‘I hope they make it what the fans want. They want a BnB, they want a museum, they want access to it. Go for it.’. Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan was previously forced to scold fans for lobbing pizzas onto the home’s roof to recreate a viral moment in the show.

In the hit drama, Walter (Bryan Cranston) throws an entire, unsliced piece on top of his house in a burst of rage after being shut out by his family. Vince told fans – who were also throwing pizzas at the property – it was ‘not funny.’. He said: ‘It is just not funny. It’s been done before. You are not the first.’.

Walter’s home isn’t the only property from Breaking Bad to have hit the market. In 2015, Jesse Pinkman’s (Aaron Paul) New Mexico home was on sale for $1,000,000 (£804,000). It was the home Jesse was given by his Aunt when she died of lung cancer, although it belonged to his estranged parents. They tried to sell it from under him, although he surprised his mum and dad by buying it back.
