EAGLES fans have left carnage on the streets of Philadelphia as they celebrated the Super Bowl win by setting fires, climbing on cop cars, and brawling. Revellers let off fireworks after their team dominated the Kansas City Chiefs 40 to 22 in New Orleans on Sunday night. Thousands took to Broad Street in Philadelphia following the Super Bowl 59 win with eager fans climbing light poles, trees, and sanitation trucks.

Police estimated some 10,000 took to the streets in the center of Philadelphia as they celebrated the Eagles win. City Hall was lit up with greens lights as the crowds gathered in front of it. Cops kept a heavy presence in the area and had to call for backup after their repeated calls for people to leave went unheard. A crowd on 12th and Market streets ransacked a truck full of white towels outside a hotel and then set fire to them.

One clip posted to social media showed a cop shove a man who appeared to be trying to jump over security gates. Philadelphia cops ordered the crowd to disperse at 1.35am in an alert broadcast to cellphones. The win in New Orleans on Sunday marked only the second time the Eagles had lifted the Vince Lombardi trophy. Philadelphia fans inside the Superdome brought the noise and made a sizeable impact on the Chiefs' offense.

The Eagles' defence stopped the Chiefs' three-peat in its tracks and lead to the nearly 20-point blowout. Fans even tail gated at the graves of their loved ones, reports claimed. President Donald Trump also attended the game and dug into Travis Kelce's girlfriend Taylor Swift after the singer was booed. He posted on social media: "The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift.
