*Warning - This article contains spoilers for Celebrity Bear Hunt.*. Lottie Moss has previously been open about her battle with addiction and depression that has led her to going to rehab, and now the model has revealed appearing on Celebrity Bear Hunt saved her from going once again. The Celebs Go Dating star opened up to her fellow celebrities on the second episode of the Netflix show and broke down as she spoke about her battles.

Speaking about her struggles, she expressed: "You become quite numb, I didn't feel anything, I didn't care whether pretty much, I lived or died. "I would've gone into the ground and my mum said, 'You need to go to rehab.' It made me feel better but it didn't really work. "I'm not gonna lie to you guys, before coming in here, I was about to go to rehab again," Lottie explained before breaking down in tears and being comforted by her fellow contestants.

Upon leaving the show after making it to the final five, Lottie was asked about the moment she opened up to her new pals. In her exit interview, she divulged: "As with mental health you get yourself into a state - when it rains it pours. I definitely just needed a sense of purpose, I needed to feel inspired again about life. "The thing with depression and anxiety is when you don’t feel inspired you don’t feel like you want to do anything, everything in you just crashes and dies. That spark just gets put out.".

Lottie went on to credit the show for giving her that spark back to carry on conquering life with full throttle. She continued: "So when you do things like this, it reignites that fire of, 'Oh my god I have things to live for,’ the adrenaline feels great and you feel emotions again. "A lot of the time with my depression I feel nothing. I feel numb and that’s a very dangerous state to be in. And that’s the reason I took myself there last time as well. I just couldn’t get out of bed.".

The reality star realised that running through the 'Bear Pit' and abseiling down a cliff made her feel like a "badass". Lottie made it to the final five alongside Una Healy, Steph McGovern, Big Zuu and Kola Bokkini but failed to make it out of the final Bear Pit after being caught by Bear Grylls. Steph, Una and Big Zuu all managed to successfully escape, before Bear himself crowned Big Zuu the champion of the very first series on Netflix.
