Martin Fowler’s (James Bye) life is on the line after a frame fell on him during the aftermath of the Queen Vic explosion in EastEnders. As the aftermath kicked off tonight, Martin realised Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) was on her own and trapped. He helped multiple residents escape, but could bare the thought of leaving Stacey alone.

With that, he made sure Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) was safe, and then went back to Stacey. Once free from the rubble, Stacey – for some reason – chose to talk to Martin about their feelings for each other.
