Elon Musk accused of leaving son, 4, behind when walking off stage

A resurfaced clip of Elon Musk walking off stage and seemingly forgetting about his four-year-old son has sparked discussion online. It comes just days after Grimes blasted Elon Musk for ‘parading’ their son around the Oval Office during a press conference.

In the video, X Æ A-Xii, nicknamed X, was filmed toddling down the stairs after his father spoke at a rally in January. Once Musk reached the bottom of the stairs, however, he continued to stroll off stage, without looking back or waiting for his young son to catch up.

It’s unclear if Musk waited for X, or if someone else was accompanying the child, but social media has been quick to jump to conclusions. Many accused Musk of using X as a ‘human shield’ or ‘prop’ to look more appealing as he becomes more visible in the world of politics.

One Reddit user wrote: ‘I’d love to know how much time it took for him to realize after what we see here. I can’t imagine not holding my child’s hand at that age going down steps.’. ‘The party of family values, right there,’ another observed.

Last week, X’s mum Grimes expressed her anger at Musk parading their son around. She wrote: ‘He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.’. Attention has been on Musk’s parenting skills lately after Grimes had to publicly beg him to contact her over their child’s ‘medical crisis’ recently.

‘I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap, so I need him to f**king respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that’s where we are at,’ she added.

Tesla and SpaceX owner Musk is allegedly the father to 13 children, with some claiming that he may have more offspring. Musk became a father in 2002 when he and his ex-wife Justine Wilson welcomed their son, Nevada. Sadly, the infant died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at just 10 weeks old.

They went on to have a further five children – twins Griffin and Vivian, 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, 19. He shares twins Strider and Azure, two, with Neuralink director Shivon Zillis, and an unidentified child born in 2024. Right-wing influencer Ashley St Clair has also claimed she gave birth to the businessman’s 13th child last year.
