A 36-YEAR-OLD woman shared an insight into her relationship with a man who is almost 80. The pair, who are engaged, have faced significant backlash over their age gap. Speaking on the YouTube channel Love Don't Judge, Tiffany and Jim recalled their first meeting and how their relationship developed. Tiffany, who works as a content creator, was visiting a retirement home when she met her fiance, who is 42 years her senior.

She explained that she was filming content with other residents when they "got to talking.". Tiffany invited Jim to appear in one of her videos, and said "the rest is history.". Jim joked that he thought to himself: "Is this the new Marilyn Monroe?". "I formed an attraction to him while filming," Tiffany told YouTube viewers. She described her partner as "really funny" and said they "have a really nice bond.".

"Maybe it's because I didn't have a grandfather in my life, it sounds so wrong but I really do connect with him," she added. While the couple don't live together, they said that their arrangement allows them to "value time" when they do see each other. They revealed that they don't fight and have no problems, treating each other "like best friends.". The pair, who are in an open relationship, shared what they get out of dating each other.

While Jim said he likes to see Tiffany in "cotton summer dresses" and pointed out that older women "lose their mojo," the content creator explained why she prefers older men. "When I'm with guys my age or younger, they're all just go, go, go," she said. "They're love bombing me and it's too much so when I'm with older men, it's just a whole other ball game. "I don't feel like I have to prove myself.". Despite their reasoning, the couple still "get a lot of hate on the internet.".

"They will tell me that I'm a gold-digger, that he's my dad, that I'm using him for views," Tiffany said. Trolls have even gone as far as describing their relationship as "absolute filth" and calling it "elder abuse.". However, the pair say they "don't feed into it," pointing out that they are happy and not hurting anybody. YouTube users shared their own thoughts on the couple in the comments section.
