Police are urgently hunting a teenage boy who has been missing from his Essex home since Sunday morning. Kajus Terechovas, 13, was last seen in South Ockendon at about 10am on 15 December. The teenager was last in contact by phone at around 11.15am that morning.

He is described as around 5ft 7ins with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black coat, black Nike tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. A spokesperson for Essex Police said: 'We have been conducting our search for Kajus at a rapid pace, and we're now asking for the public's help to locate him.
'As well as the Thurrock district, he has connections to the boroughs of Lewisham and Wandsworth. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 999, quoting incident number 1083 of Sunday, 15 December.
