Just a week after the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey hit screens, fans were given the chance to say a final farewell to the comedy with the BBC documentary. Gavin & Stacey fans were left in total shock as they realised that actress Alison Steadman sounds completely different to her character Pam Shipman.

Alison spoke as part of the documentary A Fond Farewell which aired on Wednesday night after the Christmas Day finale special. And just minutes into the hour-long programme, fans were quick to confess that they were already in 'floods of tears,' as they struggled to come to terms with the fact that the legendary sitcom would no longer be on screen.
