Home Bargains has updated its skincare range with a new lip treatment that has been reduced by over £13. The budget superstore is popular with millions across the UK for its affordable array of essentials, homeware, DIY, pet, food, health and beauty products.

It is a popular retail for bargain hunters who enjoy luxury beauty on a budget as the satore often releases 'luxury' items for a few pounds. The latest example is Charlie Tate London's Peptide Lip Treatment 14ml. On the Charlie Tate website, the lip treatment costs £15. However, customers can save themselves money by grabbing a tube from Home Bargains instead, as it is available there for just £1.49.

There are several flavours to pick from, each with their own lip nourishing properties. The Toasted Vanilla Peptide Lip Treatment features a "warm creamy vanilla scent", and provides "rich hydration for irresistibly soft and smooth lips". Another option is the Iced Butterscotch Latte flavour, which is a "coffee-fragranced moisturising lip treatment infused with peptides for soft, hydrated lips". The Raspberry Spritz delivers a "burst of juicy raspberry fragrance and revitalises your lips.".

The three other flavours are Matcha Cream, Blueberry Lavender, and Sugared Rose. Each promises a "soothing and indulgent aroma" for "soft and hydrated" lips. The discounted lip treatment was highlighted by a shopper on the popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK. Alongside a screenshot of the lip treatment online and her Home Bargains receipt, the customer called Kel wrote: "Had a little bargain today from HB’s.

"Still sold on the Charlie Tate website for £15. I got it in home bargains for £1.49! I have tried it and it’s lovely. Other flavours available too." The post quickly became a hit with other members as many rushed to like and comment. Laura said: "I got the blueberry one a few weeks ago. I love it." Sammy put: "I got the blueberry one today very good." Stacy wrote: "I got 3 different ones and they are amazing!".

Another compared it to Aldi's version of Hailey Beiber's highly sought after Rhodes collection, writing: "If it’s anything to go by, Aldi do an [alternative] of the Rhode peptide treatment, and it’s amazing.". Admin of the Facebook group added: "Just a note like many of the Home Bargains beauty products, they are just phantom brands with websites at higher prices, so they can market the products RRP in-store. All the websites are set up on the same platform." One person replied: "Shocked how many don’t realise this but fair point to say." Kel said: "I had no idea... hadn’t ever heard of them in honesty, but it’s lovely quality so I do think £1.49 is fab.".
